This is a business-to-business commission sales position. However, we have it uniquely structured in a way designed to set you up for both short-term and long-term success — so you're not starting from zero.
This is an in-person position. While you do enjoy a flexible schedule, the role is not fully remote — building relationships with local business owners happens face-to-face.
As independent agents of Aflac, everyone on the team manages their own schedule. That said, here's what it typically looks like in practice:
- Core hours are generally 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday, since that's when most business owners are available to meet.
- Occasionally, an evening or weekend appointment may come up to accommodate employees on different shifts — but that means we're writing business, and those visits are always planned well in advance.
